勞動節連假將到，台灣高鐵公司今(27)天宣布，將於5月1日及5月3日各加開1班次各站停靠的全車自由座列車(商務車廂除外)，以疏解勞動節連假的旅運人潮，其加開班次的商務車廂將自29日凌晨0時開放訂購。

台灣高鐵公司表示，經檢視勞動節疏運期間的訂位資料，顯示部分時段訂位踴躍，為了疏解旅運人潮，將分別於5月1日及5月3日各加開1班次各站停靠的全車自由座列車(商務車廂除外)，加開班次的商務車廂將自29日凌晨0時開放訂購。

根據台灣高鐵公司規劃，這2班加班車分別是5月1日早上9時48分由台北南下高雄左營的1631車次，預計11時48分抵達高鐵左營站；5月3日則是19時24分從高雄左營北上台北的1794車次，預計21時24分抵達高鐵台北站。
