被爆與有夫之婦交往 英國主教辭職

教宗方濟各4日批准英國主教的辭呈，該名主教上周坦承，作為一個牧師，他沒有忠於自己的誓言。據英國媒體報導，他辭職的原因是因為與教區的有夫之婦有不正當關係。

據報導，63歲的科尼（Kieran Conry ）被爆料和教區的2名女性教友交往，其中一名還是2個孩子的有夫之婦。該名婦人的丈夫很憤怒，他表示，「天主教會知道科尼的行為，並對他的行為睜一隻眼閉一隻眼。」

梵諦岡發表聲明，教宗方濟各已經接受科尼的辭職。據教會法，如果主教生病或是有其他重大的原因不適合勝任，可以提早辭職。

科尼聲明表示，為帶給教會的恥辱道歉，並請求寬恕。
