晶圓代工廠台積電與安謀(ARM)合作衝刺先進製程技術，客戶10奈米製程64位元ARM架構處理器預計明年第4季便可設計定案。

台積電與安謀緊密合作，不僅讓ARM架構在行動裝置市場居領導地位，台積電營運也順利搭上行動裝置市場高成長列車，近年業績逐年創新高，成長性也大幅超越整體半導體產業水準，穩居晶圓代工龍頭地位。

台積電近期與安謀合作持續有不錯成果，順利完成16奈米鰭式場效電晶體(16FF)製程64位元大小核技術晶片驗證，雙方預計第4季再合作推出16FF+製程。

台積電今天再與安謀共同宣布一項為期多年的合作協議，雙方將合作開發10奈米64位元ARMv8-A處理器矽智財(IP)解決方案。

台積電表示，最快明年第4季起便能支援客戶採用10奈米製程技術完成64位元ARM架構處理器的設計定案。

市場估計，台積電10奈米製程技術將可如期於2016年導入量產。

台積電為加速10奈米製程技術開發，召募「夜鶯部隊」，首創研發人員上班三班制，並擴大研發經費，估計今年研發費用將占營收的7.3%，明年研發費用佔營收比重將進一步攀升至8%，以面對來自三星(Samsung)及英特爾(Intel)的強力競爭，鞏固晶圓代工龍頭地位。(中央社)
