美最高法院為減碳規定設限

美聯社報導，美國聯邦最高法院23日為歐巴馬政府的一項環保計畫設限，規定環保署在某些案例中，無權迫使電廠評估減少碳排的辦法。

最高法院法官說，上述判決適用的情況，是電廠需要申請許可以便擴充或新建將增加整體碳排汙染的設備時，環保署無權迫使電廠評估其他減少碳排的辦法。

但這項判決不影響環保署最近針對現有電廠及新電廠所提的全國性減排標準。
