一月少雨加州節水率急降

【大紀元2015年03月07日訊】根據加州水資源調度委員會（State Water Resources Control Board）的數據，由於今年1月少雨，加州節水率急劇下降；而最新的積雪檢測表明，到今年為止，積雪偏少已經是連續第三年了。

水資源調度委員會主席費莉西婭‧馬庫斯（Felicia Marcus）表示，1月的節水率，遠遠低於去年年初由州長布朗（Jerry Brown）在宣布加州進入乾旱緊急狀態時定下20%的節水目標。

馬庫斯稱，2014年12月，相比2013年12月，全加州用水量節省了22%，而1月份的統計顯示，與1年前的1月相比，用水量僅降低了8%，這有點令人沮喪。

據悉，戶外用水占全加州用水量的近一半，在去年12月數次風暴襲擊，雨量充足的情況下，戶外用水不太需要，導致用水下降顯著；但到乾旱少雨的1月，情況則完全不同了。

週二（3月3日）發布的積雪勘探結果表明，在沙加緬度以東90英里的回聲峰（Echo Summit）測得的積雪僅相當於0.9英寸的降水量，情況堪憂。
