美國股市於2月大幅上揚，但3月卻又像個空頭。周三，股市連續第二天下跌。

當然，二天的跌勢不足代表趨勢，且多頭市場結束的報導已誇張了近六年之久。但Belpointe公司分析師尼爾森(David Nelson)指出，幾項惱人的趨勢，至少能讓今年的股市落入整理走勢，而非上揚。

最明顯者，尼爾森指出，是S&P 500的預估水準已連續七個月下修，且分析師也持續調降企業的獲利預估。

「能源業是獲利的最大拖累，這已不是秘密，有跡象顯示所有行業都開始轉差，」他指出。「美元強勁，是部份原因，但絕非全部原因，國內企業的獲利也告下修，這才讓人擔憂。」

其他的利空因素包括，1.美元強勁，讓美國跨國企業更難與外國企業競爭。2.股市價值雖非極高，但已非便宜。3.上升的利率為股票本益比帶來壓力，尤其是替代債券的公用事業股。

尼爾森強調，他並非宣稱這是頭部，但是初期的警告訊號已開始出現。
